1. About these terms

Surprilo is currently operated as an independent software project in an early product-validation phase. It is not presented as a registered company or commercial legal entity.

2. What Surprilo is

Surprilo is a web application for creating and sharing small message experiences: surprises, quizzes, choice prompts and prank reveals. Creators compose an experience and share a public link; recipients open the link and interact with it. The service is currently provided free of charge.

3. Accounts and anonymous creation

You may use the service anonymously or with a free account. Anonymous drafts are tied to your browser session; if you delete your browser cookies, access to those anonymous drafts is lost. Accounts keep access across devices and allow claiming anonymously created drafts after signup.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account.

4. Your content and your rights

You keep all rights to the content you create. By creating and sharing an experience you grant us the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store the content and make it available to people who open its public link — for the sole purpose of operating the service. When you delete content, this permission ends.

You confirm that the content you create does not violate any law or third-party rights and that you have the necessary permissions for everything you include.

5. Public sharing

Anyone with an experience link can view it. Do not publish confidential or private information. Public experiences may be indexed by search engines; recipient pages are deliberately excluded from indexing.

6. Prohibited use

• Illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory or discriminatory content;
• content sexualizing minors or otherwise harmful to children;
• malware, phishing, spam or attempts to gain unauthorized access;
• impersonation of other people or of the service;
• automated scraping or abuse of the service beyond normal use.

7. Content removal and termination

We do not pre-screen content, but we may remove content that violates these terms and suspend or terminate access for abusive use. If you encounter violating content, report it to contact@surprilo.com and we will review it promptly. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" during its early validation phase, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service or individual features at any time. Material changes to these terms will be announced on the website; continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where such an exclusion is not permitted by applicable law. Outside of that, the service is offered in good faith as an early-stage experiment and is used at your own discretion. Please do not rely on Surprilo for time-critical or important communications.
